Thank you for your interest in volunteering to be a New Hope Counselor with the Crystal Cathedral Ministries!
New Hope Counselors volunteer as telephone counselors (answering 714-NEW-HOPE or 714-NEW-TEEN) and/or online counselors (responding in our private chat room at NewHopeNow.org or Teenline.org). You can train and serve on the Crystal Cathedral campus or from your home. Your first step to becoming a New Hope Counselor is to complete the following volunteer application and submit it to New Hope along with the training fee of $55 (discounted $15 for pre-registration and/or online payment).
There are three ways that you can train to become a New Hope Counselor: (1) Local Training Program (held at the Crystal Cathedral in the winter, spring, summer, and fall), (2) Online Training Program (offered via your home computer - wherever you live!), (3) Satellite Training Program (a combination of the Local and Online programs to fit your schedule). In your application you'll be asked to pick which training program you want to participate in. When we receive your application a New Hope staff person will contact you to help you get started.

Please use your Word Processing software to make a copy of your entire application as a back up copy. If after submitting your application you do not hear back from a staff person within three business days then please contact us.
